The cottage is a candle-lit hideaway, tucked into the mountainside with stunning views of mountain and sea. It sleeps a maximum of 3 guests in one bedroom and a 3/4 bed in the living room. There is an open plan bathroom with a lovely ball and claw bath. The kitchen and dining room are open plan, with a cosy wood fire that warms the beautiful stone walls. 
 
Both cottage and villa are 100% environmentally friendly. Water is filtered through table mountain sand stone and a series of settling tanks before coming totally fresh and without chemicals to both dwellings. Flush toilets feed into septic tanks and kitchen waste is turned into compost that nourishes the verdant gardens around the house. Energy is provided by solar panels and, if used efficiently and sparingly, provides lighting, hot water, refrigeration and charging capacity for cell phones and laptop computers.
 
 
The Cottage is fully equipped with a gas hob, fridge, Wireless Internet, a Weber braai and basic refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits.)

The Cottage sleeps 3 people:
  1. It has 1 bedroom en-suite with a double bed.
  2. A 3/4 bed in the living room.
  3. An open plan bathroom with a lovely ball and claw bath.
  4. All bed linen and towels are provided.
  5. The Kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and fridge.
  6. For your convenience we supply all cooking condiments (olive oil, balsamic vinegar, herbs & spices).
  7. Tea & coffee and milk supplied.
  8. The living area is an open plan lounge kitchen including a cosy fire place. Wood provided.
  9. An outside braai area with a “Weber Braai”. (Supply your own brickets.)
  10. Secure parking.
  11. Mountain stream fed pool.
  12. Hiking path with a lookout deck.

Terms & Conditions:
  • General rules:
    1. Respect nature and its resources available to you, i.e. the FLORA and FAUNA.
    2. Pay respect to your fellow tenants.
    3. Pets allowed with prior arrangement.
    4. Please keep the terrain neat.
    5. Dispose of rubbish in the bins provided.
    6. Loud music, or anything else that may cause a disturbance, should be controlled in order not to disturb others, especially after 22:00.
    Deposit policy:
    • 50% deposit required to confirm your booking.
    • Balance is payable 2 weeks (14 days) prior to arrival.
    • Payment method: EFT to bank account (no credit card facility). 
    Cancellation policy: 
    • A percentage fee will be charged on the full booking should you give notice less than the following days:

              - 30 days = 25%

             - 14 days = 50%

              - 7 days = 100%
     
    • In the event of premature departure the full extent of stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged.
    • Cancellations are only accepted in writing.  We always confirm cancellations in writing.  This is the only proof of cancellation we will accept. 
    Breakage polacy: 
    • In case of any damages, a breakage fee will be charged. 
    Smoking policy: 
    • No smoking in the rooms or inside buildings. Smoking outside is permitted, but care should be taken with the ash as “stompies” cause fires. 
     Risk policy:
    • Entry to the premises of Cape Point Villa and Cottage and the use of amenities, appliances and the pool is entirely at your own risk.
    • The owners and management of Cape Point Villa and Cottage cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to property or for any possessions of the guests occupying the apartments. 
    Arrival & Departure policy:
    • Arrival from 14h00 unless otherwise arranged.
    • Departure – clear the Apartment by 12h00 unless otherwise arranged.
